3. Visa entry to Thailand

Before traveling to Thailand, please check the visa requirements https://www.thaievisa.go.th. In some cases, you might need invitation letters as part of the visa application process. Please contact us if you need an invitation letter once your registration is confirmed.

4. Weather Considerations

When planning your trip, take into account the weather conditions in Chonburi in May. This month marks the beginning of the rainy season, bringing hot and humid conditions with occasional tropical showers, often in the late afternoon or evening. Daytime temperatures typically reach around 33–35°C (91–95°F), while nighttime temperatures remain warm at about 26–28°C (79–82°F). The sea temperature stays comfortably warm at approximately 29–30°C (84–86°F), making it suitable for swimming and water activities. While brief downpours are common, there are still plenty of sunny intervals for beach outings and coastal exploration.

5. Local Tips

Currency: The currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). Most transactions are done via cash, though some stores also accept credit and debit cards. Currency exchange counters are available at the airport.
Language: Thai is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.
Time Zone: Chonburi operates on Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7.
